SBC MEETING JANUARY 2010
Our first meeting of 2010 was on the night the snow first hit this part of the world hardest. However, SBC Members are made of stern stuff, and the wintry weather certainly brought out our fighting spirit!
THAT'S SNOW BUSINESS FOR YOU!
Obviously, some Members were suffering a worse onset of the white stuff than others, and wisely decided that discretion was the better part of valour. However, a hardy handful made it to the Cricketers in Cobham to be rewarded with a plentiful buffet (enough for double the numbers) including the pub's amazing world-class chips!
There are no photos of the event as Peter Seawright, our intrepid club photographer, was defeated by the weather (and a puncture) and reluctantly had to turn back half way - thanks for trying, Peter! We've substituted a picture which says it all...
SETTING BUSINESS GOALS
Keith Grover led the intimate group in an interactive workshop/discussion which focussed on Setting Your Business Goals for 2010. Much of the discussion centred around how our time could productively be spent targeting new work and customers.
Keith shared his simple goal setting system, designed to make the process painless (it also works for life plans - and New Year Resolutions)!
